Japanese Abacus Introduction

We know there are many types of abacus on today. Estimate in the year 1600, the chinese had introduced the abacus to Koreo and Japan. Japanese call the abacus as Soroban.



Abacus is a ractangular frame with several vertical rods and one horizontal beam. Japanese Soroban development untill today have only one bead above the reckoning bar and four beads at below.
